 Welcome to the Association of Photographers event booking system.

Here you will be able to book any of the events taking place on Sunday 15th October, 10.30am to 5.00pm.

Tickets are £5 per talk, or AOP Members can purchase a Day Pass for £10 or 3 day Weekend Pass for £20. Please book to reserve your place; we only allow one place per person per talk.

Once you have made your selection(s), to complete the booking click 'next', review details and don't forget to 'Complete Booking;'

Sunday 15th October

10.30am to 5.00pm

11am-12.30pm: Finalists Panel
Enjoy a Sunday breakfast treat with a panel made up of some of this years amazing finalists. Find out more about them and their work.

2.30-2pm: Food for Thought
This panel, which is chaired by AOP agent member, Hat Margolies of Lucid, will look at the world of food photography, how it has changed, what makes it such an exciting field to work in and what are the challenges facing those working in this important area of photography. Panelists confirmed so far include agent Skye Trayler and photographer Hugh Johnson.

2pm-3.30pm:Chris Floyd
Chris Floyd is a British photographer and film maker whose work has appeared in some of the worlds most highly respected publications, includingVogue, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Harpers Bazaar, GQ, Esquire, The New York Times Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine and Wallpaper*among others. He has shot advertising campaigns forApple, British Airways, SonyandPhilipsand has been selected several times for the National Portrait Gallerys Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize and the annual publication, American Photography.

As a director, he has produced moving image work forAvis, Anthropologie, Mr Porter, Space NKand a Christmas TV campaign forDebenhams.

Chris will discuss his work with the AOPs Emma Taylor.

It’s not only a document of my time with a seminal British band (1994-1998) but it also contains a section of text consisting of people’s memories of that time, sourced via social media, in the last days before the arrival of the internet, social media and all the other things we are confronted with today. 



3.30pm-5pm: Franz Pagot
AOP member andcinematographer Franz Pagot AICwas born near Venice, Italy, and was educated in the classics. After working in the camera department for many years, he moved to London in the 1980s, assisting famed Steadicam operator John Ward onFull Metal Jacket,Robin HoodandSleepy Hollow, and ultimately establishing himself as a respected cinematographer in features and commercials.

With his chiaroscuro style, he has framed many cinema icons including: Peter O'Toole, Ray Winston, Jude Law and Steven Berkoff, among others. He recently shotThe Contractwith a combination of RED Epic, GoPro and Blackmagic cameras. Franz is member of BAFTA and the GBCT. He has won many awards and published several books, including the highly-praisedImmersive 3D: The Secrets of Beautiful Stereo Cinematography.

Franz has already hosted three packed workshops for the AOP on theCraft of Cinematography, so do join us for this unique insight to one of our great talents.
